Professional Model Oboe available on annual loan 

We have a great opportunity for a worthy recipient who is looking for a professional model oboe to loan at no cost. 

The NZDRS has a lovely Dupin available to a NZDRS member for a one-year loan period with the option to re-apply. This is a very special instrument made by a small family manufacturer based in Luxembourg. Roland Dupin oboes are hand crafted, of excellent quality, and produced in small quantities making them difficult to come by. The member who takes on the oboe must have the instrument serviced annually by a qualified repairer and will need to arrange insurance to cover theft, loss and accidental damage to the value of $5,000 (this may be covered by a household contents policy). 

To apply, please contact us describing your situation and why you would benefit from using this instrument. Make sure to include details about your age, experience, involvement in the music community and the instrument you are currently playing on. The contact details of your teacher as a referee should also be provided.
